More than 40 children enjoyed the annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 8, at the park.
Families reveled in the excitement and enthusiasm as their young charges participated in sack races, egg-and-spoon races and photos with the Easter bunny before culminating with the egg hunt. Even adults tried the three-legged races.
Jayson Martinez was a big hit as the Easter bunny in the hour-long event. So was his mother, Melissa, who served as emcee, running the races and egg hunt.
One hundred residents and their families enjoyed the fun in the room-temperature weather under light clouds.
Making it all possible were volunteers or sponsors: Ana Flores, Jayson Martinez, Jose Martinez, Melissa Martinez, Bryan Nolan, Pat Nolan, Dan Tuttle, Susan Tuttle and Roxanne Fackler.
”I think everyone had
a grand time,” Susan Tuttle, an organizer, said.
