The Park Stockdale Civic Association sponsored an ice cream giveaway on Sunday to kick-off the summer swim season.
Community activities directors Barbara Kamena and Josh Saravia were in charge of the activity, with help from Kay Bell and Barbara’s daughter, Shayla.
More than 100 residents and guests enjoyed the event.
The pool will be open noon-8 p.m. Memorial Day Monday, then closed for four days until school gets out. Then the pool will be open daily through Labor Day.
