Santa Claus is coming to the park
Dan and Susan Tuttle post the latest poster.
The Christmas movie has been moved indoors to the hall due to wind and possibly rain.
Christmas at Harrington Park will be held Saturday, Dec. 10. Drive your decorated car to the park. Line up at 4:30 p.m. At 5, we will parade through all four quadrants of the neighborhood.
Mr. and Mrs. Claus will lead the parade. Come out and holiday cheer them on.
After the parade, sign in in the rec room, get a raffle ticket for a drawing for prizes, leave an unwrapped toy for the less fortunate and take a photo with the Clauses.
Free pizza from BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse plus popcorn and hot chocolate will be served.
Hope to see you there.

Thanksgiving drawings in the rec room
A couple of dozen residents turned out for an art project where they drew what they were thankful for on Thursday in the rec room.
Tessa, a Bakersfield High School sophomore, turned the room into an art studio for her community service project.
Using crayons, markers and chalk, artists drew everything from trees to the beach but mostly they drew family.
Tessa’s classmates, Yvonne, Rhyen, and Johle, helped and encouraged the artists. Matthew, Tessa’s younger brother, created chalk animals out front.
